What litr does

Practical vehicle records, without the clutter.

Start with a fill-up, then let the rest of the picture build naturally: consumption, costs, maintenance, supporting documents, and better decisions on the road.

01

Track the important numbers

Record fuel, odometer readings, AdBlue, maintenance, and costs. See how each vehicle is actually performing over time.

02

Keep the proof nearby

Scan a pump display or receipt, attach documents to entries, and export receipts or backups when you need them.

03

Find worthwhile fuel stops

Compare nearby prices, consider the detour, and plan a route with fuel stops that make sense for your vehicle.

04

Use the car screen safely

CarPlay shows nearby prices, route-aware stops, and station details, then hands directions to your preferred maps app.

05

Share a vehicle, not your account

Choose a vehicle to share through iCloud. Invitees can collaborate on its records without receiving access to unrelated vehicles.

06

Stay in control of your data

Keep local backups, export selected vehicle data, and decide when a vehicle is shared through iCloud.

Fuel price coverage

Official public price sources, where we support them.

litr currently provides official fuel-price coverage in four countries. Availability and fuel types depend on the source published by each country. More countries are planned.

Privacy policy

Your vehicle data stays yours.

What litr stores

litr stores the vehicle information, fuel and maintenance entries, optional receipt documents, and optional location details that you choose to record. This information is used to provide the app's features.

iCloud sharing

Vehicle sharing is optional. When you share a vehicle, the data for that vehicle is stored in iCloud and made available to the people you invite. You can stop sharing at any time from the vehicle's sharing controls.

No advertising or tracking

litr does not use advertising networks or sell personal data. It does not use data to track you across apps or websites.

Permissions

  • Location is optional and is used to show nearby prices and to help you record a station location.
  • Camera is optional and is used to scan receipts, odometers, and pump displays.
  • Notifications are optional and are used for a CarPlay-to-phone handoff when you choose an action that must finish on the phone.

Retention and deletion

Your data remains on your device and, where sharing is enabled, in the associated iCloud data store until you delete it or stop sharing. Removing the app does not necessarily remove data already stored in iCloud. Export a backup before deleting data that you may want to keep.

Questions about privacy

Support

Help when you need it.

Why are fuel prices unavailable?

Fuel-price coverage is currently available in Spain, Portugal, France, and Italy. Check that location access is enabled if you want litr to select the local source automatically, then refresh prices from the map.

How does vehicle sharing work?

Open a vehicle's sharing controls, create an iCloud invitation, and send the invitation link to the person who should collaborate on that vehicle. Sharing is optional and can be stopped by the owner.

Can I keep a backup?

Yes. Settings includes backup and data-export tools. Keep exports somewhere safe before moving devices or deleting app data.

What does CarPlay support?

CarPlay is designed for glanceable fuel-price comparison, route-aware fuel stops, station details, and directions handoff. Detailed entry, receipts, and vehicle setup stay on the phone.
